The Great Escape: Rockies
The unique aspect of TGE Rockies is the setting. This year camp will be held at Western Colorado University in Gunnison, CO. With plenty of space for recreation, there's no shortage of activity at TGE Rockies. Not to mention that there is hiking within walking distance from campus. Add on top of that great teaching, outstanding worship, small group and family time where you can dig deeper with your group, you don't want to miss this camp!

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
TGE Rockies will begin on Sunday afternoon with registration and is over late Thursday night following the final evening program. Housing is provided Thursday night, however, no breakfast will be served Friday morning and you should plan to depart by 8:00 AM.

HOUSING
All student and counselors will be housed in the dorms at Western Colorado University. You’ll need to bring sleeping bags/bed sheets and linens for each person in your group. Please know that it is important that we maximize space in every room in order to keep costs as low as possible. We will not know your specific rooming arrangements until you arrive at The Great Escape.

FOOD
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all provided as part of your conference cost. We will feed you beginning with dinner on Sunday night and your last meal will be lunch on Thursday. Dinner on Thursday night is on your own.

DAILY SCHEDULE

Mornings include breakfast, a family group mixer, quiet times, a morning session and worship.

Afternoons include lunch, recreation, free time, and tournaments!

Evenings include dinner, evening sessions, aftermaths, counselor meetings, family time, and lights out

RANDOM DETAILS YOU NEED TO KNOW

There should be one adult for every six youths you bring (1:6). There should be male counselors for male campers and female counselors for female campers.

Each student coming to TGE Rockies will need to complete a 2024 YCM Medical & Media Release form.

Each student AND leader needs to complete the WCU Camper Packet. Please bring 2 signed copies of the Camper Packet to camp: one for the venue, one for YCM.

Leaders, please have each leader/counselor in your group over the age of 18 complete the Sexual Misconduct Policy.

Deposits for all conferences are $100 per space.

Early bird discount is 5% of total cost per camper. Ends April 1

If drops are made before May 1, 2024, the $100 deposit per space is transferred to your balance due.

If drops are made after May 1, 2024, the deposit per space is forfeited.

The final date to add/remove spaces is June 1, 2024. After this date you are responsible for total cost of reserved spaces.
