OUR CAMPS

The Great Escape
The Great Escape was the first and is the oldest continually running middle school conference in America today. Founded in 1982 with 300 young people, The Great Escape (6th grade through 8th grade) happens at 5 different camps and conferences in Florida, Tennessee, Colorado, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.

The success of The Great Escape rests in the fact that the teams planning the events understand and know kids. Because so many of them are also full-time church youth leaders, they know that your number one goal for a summer conference experience is for your students to hear the message of Jesus.

Each week is packed full of recreation and activities as well as dynamic speakers, musicians, and other artists who understand how to communicate in real ways with young people. The Great Escape is a tremendously fun and exciting atmosphere where students feel comfortable and loved, and where they will have the best week of their lives experiencing the love of Jesus!

Fun In The Son
These beach conferences are for high school kids (rising 9th grade through 12 grade). Our goal is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to kids and give youth leaders and volunteers a chance to spend quality time with the students from their church. We have engaging speakers and bands at two main meetings a day, plus seminars and devotion time, and afternoons at the beach or doing fun stuff at nearby towns.
Polar Plunge
YCM’s winter weekend retreat, known as Polar Plunge, is an incredible opportunity to experience a spiritual plunge with your students. During this weekend getaway, submerge yourself in the Word with worship, teaching, family time and togetherness. Our Polar Plunge camp provides a chance to take a break mid-year and come out on the other side of it feeling refreshed and rejuvenated to jump back into life.

These 2-3 night camps are for both middle and high school students with time spent both together and separately. Be ready for incredible teaching, amazing recreation, bonfires, indoor (or outdoor) snowball fights and of course a real Polar Plunge! It’s a mini summer camp in the middle of winter!
